In "Measuring the Value of a Degree and the Purpose of College," education writer Jeff Selingo brings up some of the new ways to approach post-secondary education. While there are advantages in alternative programs for many students, the Huffington Post scribe stresses the importance of college for a person’s intellectual and social maturation. He also makes clear the importance of a four-year degree in the workplace and its role in marking the possessor as an achiever who is ready to become a contributing member of society.

Math and Science Tutor, speciaizing in Honors, AP, and college level classes
Michael Godvin has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Detroit, and both an MBA degree and a MSE degree in systems and industrial engineering from the University of Michigan. He worked for many years at EDS. With his extensive background in science and mathematics, he is able to work with students who are taking AP math classes in high school and college students who are studying math at all levels. He is particularly competent with college level engineering students. He also works with students who are taking Statistics, Physics, and Chemistry.
